Gore Reflux, Corpstream Media and Taking Impeachment Local

Then ask, "How many of you think Bush has violated enough laws and the constitution so he should be impeached after Cheney?" Believe me, they will all agree ...

Al Gore endorsed Obama last night, throwing in a strong kick in the pants to Dubya. A bit too late to mean much. It WAS a good speech and it made me, again, like gastrointestinal reflux makes you taste something you ate, hours ago, wonder what this world would be like if he'd found his voice before 2001. Some TV pundits commented how different the world and the nation would be if Gore had won, what a mistake the US had made.

It is tragic that the Democrats in congress refuse to do the right thing and impeach.

Perhaps, if the corpstream media talk more about the abject, horrific failure of Bush and Cheney, the Republicans will face the fact that history will look just as badly or worse upon them for not removing them from office and THEY will impeach them. How ironic if the Democrats blocked them from protecting the constitution? Would that show that the Democrats are NOT impeaching because they deem it politically advantageous to keep Bush dangling in the wind?

Constitutional Crisis Spurs Betty Hall To Take Petition To Commence Impeachment Procedures To NH State Senate

Brookline, NH - Brookline State Representative, Betty Hall, will introduce a Senate concurrent resolution to the State Senate to petition Congress to commence impeachment procedures if elected.

Declaring investigations 'vital' for the restoration of the integrity of our Constitution before the end of the President's term, the most recent charges outlined in Congressman Kucinch's impeachment resolution (HRes1258), Hall has charged both Democratic and Republican parties failing their constitutional responsibilities to hold our President and Vice President responsible and accountable.

Polls show most voters believe that Bush and Cheney should have been impeached long before now. Democrats and Republicans can run in their primaries against their incumbents who don't deliver, however, 'undeclared' voters have limited ballot access. There is a way for the growing number of independent-minded voters, but it is seldom employed and needs to be reexamined. By submitting sufficient number (750) nominating papers, candidates who wish to be unaffiliated can run as Independents. Hall has done just that by declaring her intent to collect nominating papers and challenge the parties to embrace impeachment procedures and other good government reforms.

Preventing future Presidents from assuming the powers that the current President and Vice-President have usurped, and holding them accountable is a fundamental tenet of the Founding Fathers, as written in the US Constitution. By jump-starting the pursuit of truth so that voters can know as much as possible before they have to vote, is vital. Presidential candidates also need answers to the questions being sought in Congress right now. The failure of Congress to get subpoenas honored and the failure to obtain a timetable for ending the Iraq occupation has brought on a 'Constitutional Crisis.'
